Theo's brother finishes before bombs
As more stories come out of Monday's tragedy at the Boston Marathon, it seems more people are finding out some of their friends actually participated in the annual event.
The bombings were the topic of conversation among some of the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday — before they hosted the Texas Rangers at Wrigley Field.
Current Cubs president and former Boston Red Sox GM and executive vice president Theo Epstein was in a Monday meeting when he heard about the bombings.
His brother Paul ran the marathon and wasn’t injured.
