Rockies' Arenado plays before over 100 friends and family members

Despite the recent poor play of the Rockies, Nolan Arenado has been a must-see attraction for his defense at third. With the Rockies playing in Anaheim against the Angels this week, his family had a chance to see him play close to home for the first time since 2009. MLB.com quotes his mother:
"We haven't been here [Angel Stadium] since 2009, when he got drafted," said his mother, Millie. "That was the last time the Rockies played the Angels, and he got to go on field -- but this is pretty special.”
Arenado attended El Toro High School in Orange County and used to sit in the stands at Angel Stadium. According to his great aunt, there were 110 friends and family members in the stands at the Big A on Tuesday and another big contingent in attendance on Wednesday.
With the Rockies playing the Dodgers this weekend, the Arenado family need only take a road trip up the five freeway to see more of the third baseman’s spectacular defense.
