SAN DIEGO (AP) The Boston Red Sox have activated reliever Koji Uehara from the disabled list.

He is expected to be available on Tuesday for Boston's second game of a three-game series against the San Diego Padres.

The Red Sox also recalled catcher Christian Vazquez and right-handers Heath Hembree and Noe Ramirez from Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday.
