Rays send struggling C Hank Conger to Triple-A Durham

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) The Tampa Bay Rays have optioned catcher Hank Conger to Triple-A Durham.

The club said Monday that a corresponding move will be announced later this week, when play resumes after the All-Star break.

Conger was batting .194 with three homers and 10 RBIs in 49 games.
