PSA: No, A's switch-pitcher Pat Venditte isn't 'amphibious'

Oakland Athletics reliever Pat Venditte has been in the headlines ever since making his MLB debut Friday in the A's loss to the Boston Red Sox, due to the simple fact that he throws with both hands.
Yes, he's ambidextrous -- and his arrival Friday after years in the minor leagues garnered attention throughout the Internet.
It also, apparently, was an opportunity for amusing headlines caused by a mix-up between "ambidextrous" (which Venditte is) and "amphibious" (which Venditte most certainly is not).

To recap: Pat Venditte is worthy of attention for being an ambidextrous hurler, as pitchers with that quirk aren't exactly common in MLB history.
An amphibious pitcher, though? Now THAT would be a story.
