Moore scratched from Orioles lineup against Giants

Published Jun. 16, 2010 4:07 p.m. ET

Baltimore Orioles second baseman Scott Moore was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the San Francisco Giants because of a strained right foot.

Moore was replaced in the lineup by Julio Lugo.

Moore is hitting .257 since his recall from Triple-A Norfolk on May 21 with one home run and four RBIs. He's tied for third on the club with three stolen bases, and is the only Orioles player aside from injured Felix Pie and Brian Roberts not to have grounded into a double play.

Lugo is batting .210 with four RBIs.
