Kevin Millar is joining Fox as a baseball analyst.

The 38-year-old Millar failed in his attempt to make the Chicago Cubs before this season, ending a 12-year major league career. Millar will make his debut as a studio analyst during Saturday night's coverage. On June 5, he will call the Brewers-Cardinals game with Joe Buck.

Millar batted .274 with 170 home runs and 699 RBIs in stints with the Marlins, Red Sox, Orioles and Blue Jays. He's best known for being an emotional leader for the Boston team that won its first World Series title in 86 years in 2004.
