Joe Girardi breaks down into tears discussing Alex Rodriguez's final game as a Yankee

On Friday night, Alex Rodriguez played his final game at Yankee Stadium as his New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays by a score of 6-3.

At the postgame press conference, Yankees Manager Joe Girardi was asked to comment on the departure of A-Rod and what he meant to the organization. Girardi, the same Joe Girardi who said "my job description does not entail farewell tours" earlier in the week regarding Rodriguez and whether the Yankee skipper would start him before his departure, broke down into tears when he was asked about what Rodriguez meant to him and the franchise:

Yes, Girardi has been all over the map this week regarding his comments about this issue, but, it's clear he and A-Rod shared a unique business relationship that clearly hasn't written its last chapter yet...
