Iglesias: 'I haven't had any discomfort'

Raisel Iglesias has been on the disabled list with a strained oblique since June 5, but after throwing a bullpen Wednesday the Reds right-hander felt good.

However, one bullpen is just one bullpen and the Reds aren't going to rush him back.

"We'll see how we get through this one today before we make any decisions," Reds manager Bryan Price told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "It's been a fair bit of time he's been off here, so it'd be a minimum of three bullpens before he's cleared to go into game situations."

Price expects Iglesias back prior to the All-Star break and if everything continues to go well there's no reason to believe that won't happen.

"I haven't had any discomfort or anything, thanks to the doctors, thanks to the trainers," Iglesias said through interpreter Tomas Vera.
