Giants' Blanco still dealing with concussion
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Gregor Blanco’s chances appear slim of returning from the disabled list on Tuesday following a concussion. He felt dizziness after riding a stationary bike on Saturday. Per the Chronicle:
"I feel anxious," Blanco said, "like, why is this happening? They told me to be patient. Don't rush yourself. Let it heal. I've got to be patient even though I don't want to. I want to make it shorter than longer.”
Blanco has been sidelined since last Tuesday. The outfielder actually has a couple of teammates he can turn to who have experienced concussions recently. First baseman Brandon Belt and catcher Hector Sanchez have dealt with head injuries over the past year.
