Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw has been ejected for hitting San Francisco Giants center fielder Aaron Rowand.
Kershaw was tossed after he hit Rowand in the leg in the seventh inning Tuesday night. It was the pitcher's first career ejection.
Dodgers bench coach Bob Schaefer got tossed by umpire Adrian Johnson in the sixth. He argued that Denny Bautista should have been ejected for throwing inside to Russell Martin.
Giants starter Tim Lincecum brushed back Matt Kemp in the fifth, then hit him, causing Johnson to warn both benches.
