31-year-old Seattle Mariners switch-pitcher Pat Venditte's ambidextrous pitching ability has inspired a rule change (requiring him to declare which arm he will use before an at-bat), a "bobblearms" doll and now a pretty funny approach from Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre (watch above).
Venditte entered the game pitching righty in the fourth inning , switched to lefty after striking out Elvis Andrus, then struck out Nomar Mazara and went back to righty to induce an Ian Desmond groundout. Venditte continued from the right side in the fifth to strike out Carlos Beltran before Beltre approached the batter's box with the joke. But Beltre brought his bat, too, doubling to left for the only hit off Venditte in his three innings of work.
