Padres promote outfielder Jankowski from Triple-A El Paso

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- The San Diego Padres called up outfielder Travis Jankowski from Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.

In 97 games between Double-A San Antonio and El Paso this year, the 24-year-old Jankowski hit a combined .335 with a home run, 25 RBIs and 32 stolen bases. Since being promoted to El Paso on July 22, he batted .392 with 12 RBIs.
