Ngata, Ebron ruled out for Lions

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Lions will be without defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and tight end Eric Ebron when they host the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Ngata (calf) and Ebron (knee) have both been ruled out for this weekend's game. The Lions will also be without linebacker DeAndre Levy, who the team says has been dealing with hip issues.

Detroit is the league's only remaining winless team, and the offense sputtered so badly last weekend against Arizona that quarterback Matthew Stafford was benched. Ebron's absence puts more pressure on receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate in the passing game.
