Titans named one of world's 50 most valuable teams

The Tennessee Titans haven't won much on the field in recent years, but the team's bottom line appears to be doing just fine.

The Titans, who finished 2-14 last season, made Forbes magazine's list of the world's 50 most valuable sports teams, coming in at No. 48.

Forbes lists the current value of Titans at $1.16 billion, a ten percent increase from 2014. Tennessee's value was helped by a new 20-year, $100 million deal with Nissan for naming rights to the team's stadium.

The Titans were one of 20 NFL franchises to make the list. The Dallas Cowboys were once again ranked as the league's most valuable franchise, with an estimated value of $3.2 billion.

Soccer club Real Madrid is listed as the world's most valuable team at $3.26 billion.
