Warriors' TV ratings double as record-breaking season rolls on

Even people who don't like the Golden State Warriors have to admit that watching them play basketball is a unique experience. Not only has the NBA never seen a team this good, it's also never had a team that's this incredibly entertaining to watch.
The people have spoken, and they really love what they see: Television ratings are through the roof (via SBD):
The NBA’s power in California has shifted north, both on court and on TV. The defending champion Golden State Warriors have seen their local TV ratings more than double this season compared with last year’s midpoint. With an 8.42 average rating on CSN Bay Area, the Warriors’ 120 percent spike in ratings is easily the largest increase in the league.
This shouldn't surprise anyone. The Warriors are must-see TV every single time they take the court. Steph Curry is the most exciting/popular basketball player in the world, and his ability to ignite any crowd—regardless of the city—is unmatched.
From yesterday: President Obama had so much fun when the Warriors visited the White House. https://t.co/3REDgZVhHG https://t.co/VGRCD3cJa1

Golden State is 46-4, with three All-Stars and a championship pedigree. They're doing things nobody's ever seen before, and nobody should be surprised if the ratings are even higher next season.
