Nelson apparently passes on seeing Rose

Jameer Nelson could have seen Derrick Rose in the second round, after all.

With Atlanta facing Chicago in the Eastern Conference semifinals, Hawks spokesman Arthur Triche decided to have some fun at the Orlando point guard's expense and left him two tickets for Game 1 on Monday night.

Triche says he ''took a page'' from former Falcons coach Jerry Glanville, who used to leave tickets for Elvis, leaving two seats in the 300 level. As far as he knew, they weren't used.

TV microphones caught Nelson telling Rose after the Magic lost 102-99 to the Bulls late in the season, ''I'll see you in the second round.'' The Hawks spoiled that by eliminating Orlando in the first round.
