Before he witnessed Duke's downfall, Kobe watched his wife eat it

This was one trip that Grayson Allen couldn't be blamed for.

Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa made quite an entrance Thursday night at the Duke-Oregon Sweet 16 game in Anaheim, Calif.

Vanessa tripped and sprawled right in front of Kobe, losing a $1,500 Louboutin and nearly ending her husband's career a couple weeks early.

She was fine, but it turned out to be a bad omen for Coach K's boys, who stumbled right out of the tournament.

Good thing Broncos star Von Miller didn't have any accidents — he took a helicopter to the Sweet 16.
