Yoan Moncada hits first professional home run (Video)

The Boston Red Sox dropped $31.5 million dollars to sign Yoan Moncada this offseason, the most expensive amateur free agent signing in team history.

On Saturday, the 20-year-old Cuban phenom (and Red Sox top prospect) hit his first professional home run, smashing a two-run shot for the Greenville Drive:

On the season, Moncada is slashing .257/.316/.429 with five RBI in nine games.
