Yankees still ignoring A-Rod's home run milestones

Published Apr. 13, 2015 7:01 p.m. ET

A couple days ago, it was reported that the Yankees plan to just ignore Alex Rodriguez's home run milestones. It seems like they're sticking to that plan. In the Yankees' daily "upcoming milestones" sheet, A-Rod's pursuit of tying Willie Mays on the all-time home run list is missing:

Rodriguez is five homers short of tying Mays for No. 4 on the list at 660.

The Yankees and A-Rod saga has been quiet as of late, but that could be changing quickly.
