Yankees OF Swisher leaves game with sore biceps

New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi says Nick Swisher is day to day with sore left biceps.

Swisher left the second game of a doubleheader in the eighth inning because of the injury Wednesday night against the Detroit Tigers.

Girardi says Swisher has been bothered by the soreness for a while and did something to aggravate it in the 8-0 win over Detroit. Swisher was 0 for 3 in the victory, dropping his average to .297, after going 1 of 4 in the loss during the day.
