White Sox RF Jones scratched with back spasms

White Sox right fielder Andruw Jones has been scratched from Chicago's game against the New York Yankees with back spasms.

Jayson Nix replaced Jones in the starting lineup and was batting seventh for Friday night's series opener at Yankee Stadium.

Jones is off to a nice start in the field and at the plate, batting. 259 with six homers and nine RBIs in 17 games.
