Vernon Wells is definitely excited about joining the New York Yankees.
Within two hours of Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi reporting the veteran outfielder, currently with the Los Angeles Angels, in on the verge of a deal to land in the Bronx as a new member of the Yankees, Wells tweeted:
Though some might disagree, claiming the 34-year-old, 14-year major leaguer is going from the Angels to the Evil Empire.
