The National League Central takes center stage in this week's FOX MLB Game of the Week as the red hot St. Louis Cardinals host the Chicago Cubs. The Cards are every team's nightmare at the plate with a loaded lineup that has hit its stride. With Lance Berkman playing like he did in his prime, the always dangerous Albert Pujols, Matt Halliday and Yadier Molina just a portion of the lineup, it is easy to see why the Cards have been able to post a winning record despite losing a number of players to injury. The Cubs have nothing to be ashamed of at the plate themselves. In fact, they rank second in the majors only behind the Cards. What sets these two teams apart, however, is the pitching, where St. Louis holds a decided edge. If the Cubs are going to make a move in the division, this head-to-head matchup will be a good place to start.
