Watch minor leaguer hit a ball that magically spins fair after nearing dugout

This play represented bad luck for the batter and somewhat of a physics marvel for everyone involved. Las Vegas 51s (Mets Triple-A affiliate) batter Eric Campbell cut one foul (initially) off of El Paso Chihuahuas (Padres) sidearm pitcher Eric Yardley that seemed to have GPS tracking for fair territory. Take a look:

The one replay angle didn't even capture the ball's magical journey toward the first base dugout. Incredible. An out is an out indeed.
