White Sox third baseman Omar Vizquel left Sunday night's game against the Texas Rangers in the third inning after being hit by a pitch from starter Scott Feldman.
Vizquel took a fastball in the left knee, crumpling to the ground in pain.
He was examined on the field by White Sox medical personnel before walking slowly to the dugout and was replaced by rookie Dayan Viciedo.
Vizquel, a veteran of 22 major league seasons, played for Texas in 2009.
