Valdez out with sore left wrist

Wilson Valdez was a late scratch from the Philadelphia Phillies' lineup against the Cincinnati Reds because of a sore left wrist.

Valdez was set to start for the Phillies on Friday against the Reds. He was replaced by Juan Castro, who was batting eighth against the NL Central leaders.
