Two top Rays prospects to play in Futures Game

The Futures Game rosters have been announced with two Tampa Bay Rays prospects being chosen: 3B Richie Shaffer and LHP Blake Snell.

Shaffer is hitting .309 with 9 home runs and 18 RBI in 23 games for the Triple-A Durham Bulls. According to MLB.com, the former 2012 first-round pick is the 19th overall prospect for the Rays.

Snell, the ninth overall prospect for the Rays, is 7-2 with a 1.22 ERA, striking out 88 in 73.2 innings pitched across High-A and Double-A.
