The Minnesota Twins will interview former All-Star catcher Sandy Alomar Jr. for the team's managerial opening, FOX Sports 1 MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal reports.

Alomar has been a coach with the Cleveland Indians for the past five seasons and served as the club's interim manager for the final six games of the 2012 season when the Indians fired Manny Acta.

Alomar, 48, was named to six All-Star teams during his 20-year playing career. Alomar, who has one year left on his contract with the Indians, reportedly interviewed with the Diamondbacks for their managerial opening on Monday.
