This umpire uses a hoverboard during a college game

Amid all of the weird inventions in recent years, hoverboards are one thing that has really caught on. You can't go to a mall or school or clubhouse without seeing people zooming around on the two-wheeled board.
Apparently, the next place they're set to take over is the baseball diamond, and this Division III umpire is the pioneer:

To be fair, Johns Hopkins University's season hasn't even started yet. So while this is more of a practice game, it's an impressive level of commitment nonetheless.
Let's just hope MLB umpires don't catch wind of this -- Joe West on a hoverboard is just a disaster waiting to happen.
