Tampa Bay's Price activated from DL

The Tampa Bay Rays have activated AL Cy Young winner David Price from the disabled list to start Tuesday night against the Houston Astros.

Price has missed 44 games with a left triceps strain in his first-ever stint on disabled list. The left-hander made two rehabilitation starts with Single-A Charlotte where he went 1-0 with a 1.23 ERA in 7 1-3 innings.

Infielder Ryan Roberts, who hit two home runs on Monday night, was optioned to Triple-A Durham to make room for Price on the roster.
