South Korean slugger Lee Dae-ho has set a world record by hitting home runs in nine consecutive games.
J.K. Moon, an official with the Korea Baseball Organization, says the Lotte Giants infielder hit a three-run homer on Saturday in a game against the Kia Tigers in Gwangju, about 210 miles southwest of Seoul.
The major league mark of hitting home runs in eight straight games is shared by Ken Griffey Jr., Don Mattingly and Dale Long.
