The Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies haven't had any progress in recent trade talks for left-hander Cole Hamels, FOX Sports MLB Insider Jon Morosi reported Monday.

Hamels is among the high-priced veterans who still could be moved by the Phillies, who also have been rumored to be shopping closer Jonathan Papelbon, left-hander Cliff Lee and first baseman Ryan Howard.

Over the weekend, The Boston Globe reported the Red Sox were one of four teams to make a trade offer to the Phillies for Hamels.

Hamels, 31, went 9-9 with a 2.46 ERA and 198 strikeouts in 30 starts (204 2/3 innings) last season. During his nine-season major-league career -- spent entirely with Philadelphia -- he is 108-83 with a 3.27 ERA. He is a three-time All-Star and has finished in the top 10 in the NL Cy Young Award voting four times.

Hamels has four years and $90 million remaining on his contract, plus a $20 million team option for the 2019 season.
