MIAMI (AP) Colorado Rockies right-hander Tyler Chatwood has left his team's game at Miami in the second inning because of back spasms.
Chatwood threw 48 pitches Saturday, the last of which sailed to the backstop for his third walk. A trainer then went to the mound accompanied by manager Walt Weiss, and after a brief conversation, Chatwood left the game.
He faced 11 batters, got five outs and was charged with three runs.

The start was Chatwood's 14th since he underwent his second Tommy John surgery in April 2014. He entered the game 8-4 with a 2.89 ERA.
