Updated Mar. 4, 2020 3:35 p.m. ET

MIAMI (AP) Colorado Rockies right-hander Tyler Chatwood has left his team's game at Miami in the second inning accompanied by the team trainer.

The nature of any injury wasn't immediately disclosed Saturday. Chatwood threw 48 pitches, the last of which sailed to the backstop for his third walk.

The trainer then went to the mound accompanied by manager Walt Weiss, and after a brief conversation, Chatwood left the game. He faced 11 batters, got five outs and left with the Rockies trailing 1-0.

The start was Chatwood's 14th since he underwent his second Tommy John surgery in April 2014. He entered the game 8-4 with a 2.89 ERA.
