Rockies' Gonzalez has reached base in 21 consecutive games

After a slow start, Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez has been steadily improving. On Wednesday the left-hander laced a double through a shift on the right side of the infield to extend his streak of getting on base to 21 consecutive games, a career-high.

About a month ago some wondered what was wrong with Gonzalez. CarGo’s average has perked up from .197 to .251 since the streak began on May 18.
