Rockies cutting down on strikeouts

The Rockies finally ended their streak of seven straight double digit strikeout games on Wednesday. The team only struck out four times. Thursday the Rox didn’t strike out at all.

Drew Stubbs, whose 31 strikeouts in 51 at-bats made him the biggest strikeout victim for the Rockies this year, was actually sent down to Triple A on Wednesday. His replacement, Brandon Barnes, went 4 for 4 on Thursday.
