Rex as in flex: Royals announcer struts after catching foul ball

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:03 a.m. ET

Rex Hudler looks like he still can play  in the big leagues.

Hudler played every position except pitcher and catcher during his 13-year major league career. Now an announcer for the Kansas City Royals, Hudler used his old skills to make a fantastic grab in the broadcast booth.

The catch is pretty awesome, but his celebration isn't too shabby either. The muscle flex just never gets old.

Yet Hudler didn'€™t keep the ball for himself -- he tossed it down to the lower level so a young fan could have a souvenir.

How generous.

The Royals could have used Hudler on the field Saturday, as they fell 2-1 to the Seattle Mariners.
