Longtime Mets clubhouse manager Charlie Samuels, who joined the team in 1976, is being investigated in connection with illegal gambling, a law enforcement source told the New York Post on Thursday.

The criminal investigation is being conducted by Queens DA Richard Brown and the NYPD.
