ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) The game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays has resumed after a 30-minute delay because of a power outage at Tropicana Field.

With a thunderstorm roaring outside the building Wednesday night, a bank of lights above third base went out at 7:53 p.m., with the Blue Jays leading 2-0 in the third inning.

The start of Saturday night's game between the Rays and Boston Red Sox was delayed for 12 minutes under similar circumstances.
