Rangers' Young says team is 'good ... we know it'

Michael Young has enjoyed only two winning records in nine seasons with the Texas Rangers.

There have been plenty of disappointments for the Rangers' longest-tenured player, a career .302 hitter and perennial All-Star who wants to be part of a winner. Maybe this is the year.

The Rangers head into spring training with big expectations after adding right-hander Rich Harden and slugger Vladimir Guerrero to an already solid core of players.

Young says there should be high expectations because the Rangers, who won 87 games last season, are good.
