CLEVELAND (AP) The Texas Rangers purchased right-hander Phil Klein's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday and designated left-hander Ryan Feierabend for assignment.

Klein hasn't allowed a run over his last 35 innings at the minor-league level, which also includes 24 appearances at Double-A Frisco. He is 3-0 with 10 saves and a 0.52 ERA this season, and pitched 18 1-3 scoreless innings in nine games at Round Rock.

Feierabend had no record and a 6.14 ERA over six relief outings with Texas since his contract was purchased from Round Rock on July 12.
