Pirates fans thank Polamalu for his time in Pittsburgh

During Wednesday night's game, the Pittsburgh Pirates fans showed former Steelers safety Troy Polamalu just how much he meant to them and the city of Pittsburgh.

Polamalu, who announced his retirement in mid-April, spent his entire 12 year career with the Steelers and amassed countless accolades during that time.

- a two-time Super Bowl champion

- an eight-time Pro Bowler

- an AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year (2010)

- a member of the NFL's All-Decade Team (2000s)

- the Steelers Rookie of the Year (2003)

- the Steelers team MVP (2010)
