WASHINGTON (AP) Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy has been scratched from the lineup due to illness in Sunday's series finale against the Marlins.

Originally slated to hit cleanup for Washington, he was replaced at second by Stephen Drew, who is batting seventh.

Murphy's .403 batting average leads the majors, and he also has five homers and 23 RBI in 36 games played.

He played both games in a split doubleheader on Saturday, going 3 for 8 with an RBI.
