Nationals' Jayson Werth Chia Pet isn't your average giveaway
The Washington Nationals revealed a sneak peek at their upcoming Jayson Werth Chia Pet giveaway, and it's apparent they took a very detailed approach to recreating Werth's bust.
The Nationals tweeted out a photo of a Werth Chia Pet that's already grown on Wednesday as a teaser to the upcoming giveaway, which is slated for Aug. 5, when the Nats take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Nationals Park.

As seen in the photo, the design team made sure to generate an accurate recreation of Werth, as the Chia Pet not only captures the outfielder's bushy beard but also includes a patch of chest hair.
The first 20,000 fans in attendance at the Nats game on Aug. 5 will go home with one of Werth's Chia Pets, and will be able to claim the exclusive honor of watering Jayson Werth and watching him grow.
