Hall of Fame outfielder Willie Mays, tennis player Billie Jean King and entertainer Harry Belafonte will be honored by Major League Baseball as part of its Civil Rights Game festivities next month.

The St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds will play the annual game on May 15 at Great American Ball Park. The weekend is dedicated to those who worked for equal rights.

Mays, King and Belafonte will receive baseball's Beacon Awards at a luncheon before the game.

Boxer Muhammad Ali, entertainer Bill Cosby and Hall of Famer Hank Aaron received the awards at last year's game, also played in Cincinnati.
