Marlins win Game 1 of doubleheader over D-backs

Rocked by news that pitcher Scott Schoeneweis' wife was found dead in Arizona, the somber Diamondbacks had a difficult time concentrating on baseball.

"I was told about 30 minutes before I was about to go out," Arizona starter Doug Davis said after the Diamondbacks' 8-6 loss to Florida on Wednesday night in the first game of a doubleheader. "Obviously, our thoughts and prayers are with him. It is a tough time for not just him, but all of us and his family. It's tragic."
