Marlins-Astros postponed by rain

Published Mar. 27, 2015 5:48 p.m. ET

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) The Miami Marlins and Houston Astros game Friday night has been canceled because of rain.

The Marlins and Astros are scheduled to play again on Saturday at Jupiter, Fla. Friday's game will not be made up.

Dallas Keuchel, the Astros' scheduled starter, pitched six innings in a morning minor league game in anticipation of the rainout.

Keuchel was named last week as the Astros' starter for their regular-season opener against the Cleveland Indians on April 6.
