Hey, football freaks. Guess what, it's baseball playoff time. That's right, playoffs! So be a man, get out of your fantasy football closet and get yourself ready for what fall is all about. Here's the skinny on the latest postseason scenarios.

American League



Detroit Tigers: The Tigers can win the AL Central by beating Minnesota in Tuesday's playoff game.

Minnesota Twins: The Twins can win the AL Central by beating Detroit in Tuesday's playoff game.

New York Yankees: The Yankees have clinched the AL East and home-field advantage throughout the AL playoffs. They'll play either the Tigers or Twins, but have to choose whether to start the series Wednesday or Thursday. The Yankees will have one hour to decide after the AL Central winner is determined.

Boston Red Sox: The Red Sox have clinched the wild card and will visit the Angels starting Wednesday or Thursday, depending on what the Yankees choose.

Los Angeles Angels: The Angels have clinched he AL West and will host the Red Sox on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on what the Yankees choose.

National League



Colorado Rockies: The Rockies are the NL wild-card winner and will travel to face Philadelphia in the NLDS at 2:37 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Los Angeles Dodgers: The Dodgers have won the NL West and are the top seed in the NL playoffs. They will host the Cardinals on Wednesday at 9:37 p.m. ET.

St. Louis Cardinals: The Cardinals have clinched the NL Central and will play the Dodgers in the NLDS starting Wednesday at 6:37 p.m. ET in Los Angeles.

Philadelphia Phillies: The Phillies begin defense of their title at home on Wednesday at 2:37 p.m. ET vs. the Rockies.
