Published Jul. 5, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford has been activated from the disabled list after he was sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Crawford wasn't in the starting lineup for Friday night's game at the San Francisco Giants. He last played on June 1, when he strained his left hamstring.

Crawford hit .301 with nine steals, five homers and 13 RBIs in 51 games with the Dodgers prior to the injury.

The Dodgers optioned outfielder Scott Van Slyke to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room on the roster.
